The fans of Hotel Transylvania film series must be disappointed as its fourth and final installment titled “Hotel Transylvania: Transformania” has been scheduled to directly premiere on OTT. Well, the filmmakers have already skipped the theatre release due to rising Covid-19 cases in the United States. When and where you can stream the final chapter of Hotel Transylvania: Transformania. Hotel Transylvania’s first installment was released in September 2012 and received enormous appreciations from moviegoers. The positive response made the film successful at the box office as well. Furthermore, its two sequels Hotel Transylvania 2 and Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation did good business and became one of the most loved franchise in no time.

Hotel Transylvania: Transformania Release Date

The first release date was December 22, 2021, but it was moved up to release on August 6, 2021. Filmmakers wanted to release the film in theatres only so the film was again moved up to July 23, 2021. Though there was no decline in Covid-19 cases, Sony Pictures Releasing rescheduled to release the film on October 1, 2021.

Hotel Transylvania: Transformania or Hotel Transylvania 4 has been delayed several times. It is finally arriving on January 14, 2022.

Where to Watch Hotel Transylvania: Transformania

Filmmakers heartily wanted to theatre release. They are left with no choice but to opt for digital streaming. In August 2021, Sony finally cancelled the theatre’s release plan and was in discussion with Amazon Studios to sell them distribution rights.

Amazon Studios acquired the rights to stream the film on Amazon Prime Video worldwide (except China) on January 14, 2022, for $100 million.

Adam Sandler, who voiced for Count Dracula in previous three films, won’t be reprising his role. Brian Hull replaced him as Dracula.

Hotel Transylvania: Transformania is jointly directed by Jennifer Kluska and Derek Drymon whereas the previous three films were directed by Genndy Tartakovsky who joined the team as co-writer along with Amos Vernon, Nunzio Randazzo in this film.
