Early Life & Education – Simone was born Simone Ashwini Pillai on March 30, 1995, in Camberley, Surrey, England to Indian parents named Latha and Gunasekharan Pillai. She has an older brother but his name is not known yet. She went to Redroofs Theatre School in Maidenhead for the sixth form. After this, she enrolled at Arts Educational School in order to study acting.

Career – Her first television role was in the 2016 fantasy drama series Wolfblood. She had a two-episode appearance as Zuhra alongside Aimee Kelly, Bobby Lockwood, and Kedar Williams-Stirling. Later that year, she appeared in an episode of the thriller mystery series Guilt. In the next year, she had a guest appearance as Veena in L’ispettore Coliandro.
