Early Life & Education – A Glasgow native, Laura Fraser was born on 24 July 1975 to Rose and Alister Fraser. Her mother was a college lecturer and nurse whereas her father was a screenwriter and businessman. She studied at Hillhead High School in Glasgow where she developed a passion for acting. As a result, the actress joined the Scottish Youth Theater to study acting. Furthermore, she went to the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
