The Bachelor’s degree course (BA/B.Sc. in Cinema and Acting) is a 3-year program focusing on both theory and practical aspects of acting and filmmaking. Divided into semesters, the curriculum introduces students to the fundamentals of acting, photography, and the use of relevant software, focusing on the evolution of cinema and acting as an art form. Each semester deals with different genres and methods of acting including voice training, characterization, method acting, dubbing and voice-over, and auditioning. A comprehensive knowledge of the psychophysical aspects of acting enables students to create a showreel/short film at the end of the course showcasing their skills and creativity abilities. 

The 2-year MA/M.Sc. degree in Acting provides insights into the evolution of the art form, the basics of cinema, the what and how of marketing and distribution of films, as well as an understanding of the ethical, legal, and moral conducts and censorship laws in different parts of the world. The students familiarize themselves with different genres and methods of acting, voice-over, and dubbing, and learn the use of the latest software that meets industry standards. The project-oriented courses assess the learners’ skills and creativity based on a short film/mini-documentary/showreel at the end of the course.

The Undergraduate and Postgraduate Diploma courses are divided into 2 (1 year) or 4 semesters (2 years), depending on the acting school.
