Early Life & Education – Christopher Whitelaw Pine was born on August 26, 1980, in Los Angeles, California, to Robert Pine and Gwynne Gilford. His father is an acclaimed actor whereas his mother is a former actress who later became a psychotherapist. He has an older sister Katherine who has appeared in a couple of gigs.
He studied at Oakwood School, a co-educational independent day school located in the San Fernando Valley. He further attended the prestigious University of California, Berkeley, and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English in 2002.
