Amir made his professional acting debut in 2018 when he was cast to play Josh in the short film Special Delivery. The series concluded with the third season which would be premiered on December 5, 2022. Amir was chosen to play the lead role in the coming-of-age fantasy adventure The Letter for the King. He played the role of Tiuri alongside Ruby Ashbourne Serkis and Thaddea Graham.
He later played Dickson in the 2020 fantasy drama The Secret Garden and Anton Milanesi in the German fantasy musical The Magic Flute.
