Harlow was born in Chicago, United States to the American parents. While attending Oberlin College, she found her interest in acting and began performing in college plays. Later on, she graduated with a B.A. in Politics and English.

After graduation, she joined the prestigious Seattle Children’s Theater Drama School where she got advanced training in acting and vocal in order to become a skilled actress.
