Netflix and American filmmaker Mike Flanagan once again join hands for another supernatural horror series The Midnight Club. Prior to this, Flanagan created a few horror series for Netflix which includes The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and Midnight Mass. Mike is also known for his following films Oculus, Hush, Before I Wake, Gerald’s Game, and Doctor Sleep.
Mike’s lined up for one more series with Netflix under the title “The Fall of the House of Usher” which is currently in the post-production stage and is set to premiere in 2022 winters. The Midnight Club Release Date
The announcement for the series was made by Mike Flanagan and Leah Fong in May 2020. The filming reportedly commenced in Burnaby, British Columbia, on March 15, 2021, and wrapped up on September 10, 2021, which was actually supposed to be concluded two days before the expected date.

The Midnight Club Star Cast
The show creator revealed the main star cast which includes Iman Benson, Adia, Igby Rigney, Ruth Codd, Aya Furukawa, Annarah Cymone, Willliam Chris Sumpter, Sauriyan Sapkota, and Heather Langenkamp.
Alongside them, Zach Gilford, Matt Biedel, Samantha Sloya, Larsen Thompson, William B. Davis, Crystal Balint, Patricia Drake, and Rahul Kohli have been added to the recurring cast of the series.
Most of the stars in the series are new and gonna make their debut with the show. Some of them have already started their acting career but didn’t get any big roles until now.

The Midnight Club follows a group of eight terminally ill patients residing in a hospice, located at Rotterdam Home. They meet at the midnight to share horror stories and create a group named the “Midnight Club”. The group makes a pact whoever succumbs to their illness first will be responsible for communicating with others members from beyond the grave. After one of them passes away, strange and abnormal things started happening.

Netflix unveiled the first official teaser for The Midnight Club on June 6, 2022, which doesn’t give any details. The 1.14 minutes long teaser just introduced the main character who exchanged some lines one by one- “To those before, to those after, to us now, and to those beyond. The Midnight Club is an American supernatural horror series jointly created by Mike Flanagan and Leah Fong. They also serve as executive producers along with Trevor Macy, Julia Bicknell, and Christopher Pike. The series is produced by Intrepid Pictures and distributed by Netflix.
It is based on the 1994 novel of the same name published by Christopher Pike and will consist of ten episodes. The series will debut on Netflix on October 7, 2022.
