Early Life & Education – Ingram was born in Baltimore, Maryland to a stepfamily of six children. She was raised by her mother and stepfather who worked at childcare and in city operations respectively. While in a local private school, She was enrolled in an after-school theatre program by her mother and a teacher at “Windsor Hills Elementary” where the actress developed an interest in acting. Later, Moses went to Baltimore School for the Arts and graduated in 2012. She then attended Baltimore City Community College. In 2016, she won a scholarship to attend the Yale School of Drama. Furthermore, she completed her Master’s in June 2019.

Career – In 2018, She began her acting career after appearing in a short film titled “Candace” where she played Charlie alongside Stella Baker, Amaira Traynham, and Penelope Keen. In 2020, she made her television debut and costarred with Anya Taylor-Joy in the coming-of-age period drama The Queen’s Gambit. She played the role of a rebellious teenager as Jolene who later becomes Beth Harmon’s best friend. Her performance was praised by many and even earned a Netflix nomination “Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie”.

Following the success of The Queen’s Gambit, she appeared in two short films titled Love Therapy and The Same Storm in 2021. That same year, she marked her feature film debut as well, by playing the role of Lady Macduff in the American drama “The Tragedy of Macbeth”. The film was critically acclaimed that got a 98% approval rating based on 42 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes with an average rating of 8.5/10.

She has only five acting credits at the time of writing which earned her immense popularity and made her one of the most talented actresses in her age group. She will be next seen in “Ambulance” and “Obi-Wan Kenobi” which will be released in mid of 2022.
