Who Is Lily Sulivan? – Lily Sullivan is an Australian film and television actress who started her acting career in the year 2012 with an episode appearance in the comedy series Rake in which she played Michelle. Just after that, she also made her film debut in P. J. Hogan’s Mental which received eight nominations at the 2nd AACTA Awards. She played the supporting role of Coral Moochmore in the film alongside Toni Collette, Anthony LaPaglia, Rebecca Gibney, and Bethany Whitmore. While growing up, she saw a couple of stage productions and became interested in acting. Sullivan then started auditioning and was selected for a role during her high school days.
Career – After making her debut appearance, She was cast to play in the Australian drama Galore which premiered at the 2013 Melbourne Internation Film Festival and was released in selected theatres in June 2014. The film featured Sullivan as Laura alongside Ashleigh Cummings and Toby Wallace. Her next role was in a comedy-drama series Camp in which the actress had a recurring role as Marina Barker. The series was cancelled after one season by NBC. In 2015, she played Sarah in Ben Chessell’s Sucker.
Lily’s first breakthrough role came in 2017 when she landed the supporting role of Amie in the Australian biographical survival drama film Jungle. She co-starred alongside Daniel Radcliffe, Alex Russell, Thomas Kretschmann, and Joel Jackson. In 2018, she appeared as Petra in Romper Stomper and Miranda in Picnic At Hanging Rock.
She had a role in the 2019 Australian horror anthology Dark Place. Sullivan played Delphine in the Australian drama Barkskins which was based on Annie Proulx’s novel of the same name. It was cancelled after one season. She next acted as Lucy in the 2021 film I Met a Girl. Lucy had a brief role in the Australian sci-fi film Monolith which premiered at the Adelaide Film Festival in October 2022.
Her career’s major breakthrough role was in the American supernatural horror film Evil Dead Rise. She played the main role of Beth in the film along with Alyssa Sutherland and Morgan Davies. The film was a commercial success.
