Early Life & Education – Keira Knightley was born on March 26, 1985, in Teddington, London, to Will Knightley and Sharman Macdonald. Her father is a theatre and television actor whereas her mother is a popular playwright. She studied at Stanley Junior School and after that attended Esher College.

Career – She was very young when she started appearing in commercials and Television. In 1993, she made her acting debut by playing a small role in the British television anthology drama series Screen One.
