She was born on 6 January 1999 in Sydney and raised with her fraternal twin sister named Annabel. She always has been close to her mother, Susan Scanlen. When she was in school, she used to participate in school plays and decided to pursue acting professionally.
As a teenager, she asked her parents to let her take an acting course in L.A. and simultaneously, she started giving auditions. In 2016, she finally got her first major project where she played Tabitha Ford in the Australian soap opera Home Away. In 2021, she played the role of 15-year-old Kara, daughter of Charles and Chrystal, whereas Begley played Kara at 6 and Mikaya Fisher played Kara at 11 in the American thriller Old.
