Its official “Production for Yellowjacket Season 2 has been commenced”, the update shared by Yellowjackets on SHOWTIME Twitter page which reads as:-
“Going feral… Our #Yellowjackets are back in production for Season 2 🐝“.
“Daisy von Scherler Mayer” is set to direct the first episode whereas who will be directing the rest of the episodes is not revealed yet. The announcement for the second season was made before the finale of Yellowjacket Season 1. At the time, only five episodes were aired when the series was renewed for a second season.
When Is Yellowjackets Season 2 Expected Release Date?
Filming commenced for Yellowjacket Season 1 in September 2019, in Los Angeles. The creators have to pause production for almost one and a half years due to Covid-19. They then started filming in Canada and it took almost six months to complete the shooting for the whole season. The series made its debut on November 14, on the streaming provider.
On August 31, 2022, The production for Yellowjackets Season 2 has been commenced, and it will take the next six months to wrap up the shooting. By guessing that, the new season will start streaming in early 2023. Well, the exact date and month have to be unveiled. Stay connected for more updates.
