The year 2019 began with a positive note as URI: The Surgical Strike turned the biggest blockbuster followed by Salman Khan starer Bharat, Shahid Kapoor starer Kabir Singh, and many others. Top 10 Highest Grossing Bollywood Films of 2019 So Far
1) Kabir Singh
Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starer film Kabir Singh is on top of 2019’s Bollywood highest-grossing films. The film managed to gross ₹278.24 Cr at the box office and became an all-time blockbuster. The movie received mixed reviews, though Shahid Kapoor’s performance was praised.
2) Uri: The Surgical Strike
Won the heart of the audience and praised by critics, Uri: The Surgical Strike roared at the box office with the lifetime collection of ₹244.06 Cr. It stars Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal, Mohit Raina and Yami Gautam in lead roles.
Uri won four National Film Awards, including Best Actor (Vicky Kaushal) and Best Director (Aditya Dhar).
3) Bharat
Bharat is a brilliant movie which tells the story of a man who suffers a lot after India-Pakistan partition. It is the third highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2019 so far.

4) Mission Mangal
If Akshay Kumar’s movie is not in the list so probably the list is incomplete. Here Mission Mangal is in the list which is based on the life of ISRO’s scientists who contributed to the Mars Orbiter Mission.
The movie received positive response from the audience and critics. The movie so far collected ₹178.12 crores at the box office and still running so probably, it will collect more than ₹200.00 crore.
5) Total Dhamaal
The multi-starer comedy film, Total Dhamaal is the third installment of Dhamaal film series. The movie collected ₹154.30 crores at the box office and became hit. It was a family entertaining film, directed by Indra Kumar.
6) Kesari
Here once again, Akshay Kumar starer film Kesari which won the heart of the audience and critics too. It was based on the Battle of Saragarhi. The movie made on a budget of ₹80 crores and collected ₹153.00 crores at the box office and became a commercial hit.
7) Gully Boy
Zoya Akhtar directorial venture Gully Boy is a musical drama film inspired by the lives of Indian rappers Divine and Naezy. It was like a fresh story and a very first-time Indian audience watched this kind of movie in Bollywood.
Gully Boy received positive reviews from critics and successfully grossed ₹149.31 crores. It was Ranveer Singh’s third consecutive movie which entered in ₹100 crores club.
8) Super 30
Super 30 is really a very amazing movie with a brilliant storyline, direction, and star cast performance. The movie was based on the life of a mathematician Anand Kumar and his educational program Super 30. As Hrithik Roshan is undoubtedly an amazing actor, but in this movie, he played superbly and seen in a different avatar.
Really appreciated to the Indian audience that they like Super 30 and it must have been in the list. It grossed ₹141.80 crores at the box office.
9) De De Pyaar De
Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Rakul Preet Singh starer romantic comedy De De Pyaar De is one of the best Bollywood films of 2019. It makes you laugh, and also play with your emotion at a few moments. It emerged as a big hit at the office with a lifetime collection of ₹102.40 crores.
10) Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi
Kangna Ranaut beautifully portrayed the character of Rani Lakshmi Bai in the film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. She received critically acclaimed for her performance in the movie and the audience praised her too. The movie didn’t perform well at the box office but managed to collect ₹94.92 crores.
