Timothée Chalamet Starrer Bob Dylan Biopic Filming Begin This Year

In Early 2020, Bob Dylan’s biopic was announced but delayed for an indefinite period probably because of Covid Pandemic. The film is finally resumed back and filming might begin this summer as per the latest update. Dune star “Timothée Chalamet” will be seen portraying the early days of Bob Dylan in the upcoming untitled biopic which is set to direct by ‘Ford vs Ferrari” fame James Mangold.

During the press event of Star Wars, the director himself revealed that filming for the upcoming biopic will be commenced this August, told to Collider. And, more details including the star cast, release date, and trailer will be unveiled very soon.

Moreover, James Mangold also revealed Timothée Chalamet will do his own singing in the biopic of the legendary singer “Bob Dylan”.

[We will likely start filming] August of this year. It’s such an amazing time in American culture and the story of Bob, a young 19-year-old Bob Dylan coming to New York with $2 in his pocket and becoming a worldwide sensation within three years first being embraced and kind of into the family of folk music in New York. And then of course, kind of out running them at a certain point as his star rises.

It’s so beyond belief, it’s such an interesting true story and about such an interesting moment in America, the American scene, different characters from Woody Guthrie to Bob Dylan, to Pete Seeger, to Joan Baez. All have a role to play in this movie.

James has two big-budget projects “Swap Things” for DC and an untitled Star Wars film due for release in the years to come. Moreover, the renowned director would be writing the script for the films as well.

Additionally, Bones and All actor has two massive projects lined up titled “Dune: Part Two” and Wonka which is set for release this year.
