Three songs were released titled What You Need”, “Loft Music” and “The Morning under Rose production, which The Weeknd later uploaded on YouTube under the username xoxxxoooxo.
His first mixtape was released under the title “House of Balloons” which had nine tracks including the songs he created for Jeremy Rose. The album was nominated for the 2011 Polaris Music Prize. In 2019, The Weeknd marked his acting debut in the American crime thriller film Uncut Gems. He will be next seen as Tedros in the HBO television drama series The Idol alongside Lily-Rose Depp who will be portraying Jocelyn.
