Early Career – She was born on May 31, 1987, in New York, to Karen and Ronald Hagner. She has a sister named Kerry Hagner. She received her elementary education at Chapel Hill High School and subsequently went to the prestigious Boston Conservatory.
Career – Hagner’s onscreen acting career started with roles in television films and mostly in radio advertising campaign ads. She appeared in many advertisements including 3M, Acuvue, JCPenney, Levi’s, Radio Shack, Subway, and Truth.
In 2008, she finally made her television debut appearance as Liberty Ciccone in As the World Turns and subsequently starred in Royal Pais as Libby. Two years later, she also made her feature film debut in Going the Distance where she played a small role.
Her first major breakthrough role came in 2011 when she played one of the main roles of Ava Leary in the boxing drama series Lights Out. Her performance was noticed the first time and even praised by the audience. The same year, she also starred in a film titled Damsels in Distress.
