Who Is Margot Robbie? – Margot Elise Robbie is a critically acclaimed actress and producer. She started her career after landing in a couple of Australian films and moved later to America to begin her career in Hollywood. After a few years of working in the entertainment industry, she shot to fame and received accolades from critics and audiences. On the personal front, She tied the knot with Tom Ackerley in December 2016. They together produced many films and TV series such as I, Tonya, Promising Young Woman, Dollface, and Maid under their banner LuckyChap Entertainment.

Early Life & Education – Robbie was born on July 2, 1990, in Dalby, Queensland to Sarie Kessler and Doug Robbie. Her father is a former farm owner and sugarcane tycoon whereas her mother works as a physiotherapist. Robbie’s parents divorced when she was just five years old. She grew up along with her three siblings by her mother and grandparents. She has an older brother Lachlan, a younger brother Cameron and a sister, Anya. She attended Somerset College located in Mudgeeraba, Queensland, Australia.

Career – She made her acting debut after appearing in two low-budget independent thriller films titled Vigilante and I.C.U. Robbie’s television career started when she was chosen to play Caitlin Brentford in the 2008 drama series City Homicide. She next guest-starred in two episodes of the Australian children’s TV series The Elephant Princess.

That same year, Robbie was cast as Donna Freedman in the Australian television soap opera Neighbours. It was her first performance which received huge appreciation from the audience that even helped her to get more acting offers from films as well. She is critically acclaimed for her performance in Craig Gillespie’s biographical sports comedy film I, Tonya where she portrayed the title character.
