Qualley is not only an actress but also a dancer, model, and professionally trained ballerina. She was born on October 23, 1994, in Montana to Andie MacDowell, an actress and model, and Paul Qualley, a model and musician. Her parents separated when she was just five years old, so she had to split her time equally between each parent.
She went to the North Carolina School of the Arts, where she studied dance. Later on, trained as a ballerina at the American Ballet Theatre and Professional Children’s School in New York. When she turned 16, she had the offer to become an apprentice at the North Carolina Dance Theater, but she decided to quit dance. For her living, she started working as a model, meantime she focused on pursuing her career as an actress and joined a summer program at London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
