Career – Her first acting appearance was as Student #2 in Disney Channel’s comedy series Lizzie McGuire. She starred in an episode titled “Best Dressed for Much Less”. Her next role was in the 2012 short film titled Family Dinner. She then had roles in a couple of short films including The Greggs, Shopping, and I Love You Both.
She then went on to make episode appearances in TV shows like Don’t Walk, Monica, Those Who Can’t, Transparent, and Comedy Bang! Bang!. Kate made episode appearances in countless TV shows over the course of her acting career.
In 2018, Kate was seen playing Diana DeBauchery in Boots Riley’s Sorry to Bother You which revolves around a young and talented black telemarketer who applies for a white accent in order to succeed at his job but things take an unexpected turn when he must have to choose between profit and joining his activist friends to organize labor. The film was a commercial success and opened with positive critical responses.
That same year, she starred in three more films titled Little Bitches, Happy Anniversary, and Duck Butter. Her next role was in Quentin Tarantino’s comedy-drama Once Upon a Time in Hollywood which had Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, and Margot Robbie in lead. She then played Jackie Cohn in After Class and Monica Fulton in Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster, Frankenstein.
Her most recent appearance was in the 2022 film Don’t Worry Darling alongside Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, and Olivia Wilde.
