Juno Temple is an English film and television actress who has named many awards and recognition over the course of her acting career including the prestigious British Academy Film Awards, Prague Independent Film Festival, and several others. She started her journey in the entertainment world as a kid but gradually became passionate about acting which helped her to pursue a full-time career as an actress. Early Life – She was born in Hammersmith but grew up in Taunton, Somerset along with her siblings. Her mother Amanda Pirie is a well-known film producer whereas her father Julien Temple is a director. As she comes from a family of well-known producers and directors so it was not challenging to make her entry into the entertainment industry.

Education – Juno received her elementary education at Enmore Primary School and then went to Bedales School for further education. Afterwards, she enrolled at the prestigious King’s College. Career – Her first on-screen appearance was in the 1997 film Vigo: Passion for life. She was then cast as Emma Southey in the 2000 biography drama film Pandaemonium which was directed by her father. She worked as a child actress in these two films.

Almost six years later, she made her appearance as Polly Hart in the psychological thriller drama film Notes on a Scandal. The film was appreciated by the audience and critics. Besides appreciations, it earned four Academy Awards nominations in the categories – Academy Awards – Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Original Score.

She then played the role of Lola Quincey in Atonement. In the same year, she appeared as Celia in Oliver Parker’s St Trinian’s. In 2009, she appeared as Eema in Year One, Di Radfield in Cracks, Anna in Mr. Nobody, Celia in Glorious 39 and St Trinian’s 2: The Legend of Fritton’s Gold.

In 2014, the actress began her television career as well by debuting in the educational comedy Drunk History as a character of Sybil Ludington / Marilyn Monroe. In 2016, she played one of the main lead roles in the period drama Vinyl where she appeared as an ambitious assistant at American Century’s A&R Department Jamie Vine.
