Early Life & Education – Born as Hayley Elizabeth Atwell on April 5, 1982, in London. She is the only child of Allison Cain and Grant Atwell, an American photographer. She attended Sion-Manning Roman Catholic Girls’ School and then went to London Oratory School where got A-levels.

After working for a casting director for two years, she finally attended Guildhall School of Music and Drama where graduated with a BA in acting in 2005, whose alumni include Lily James.
