Early Life – Jason Sudeikis was born on September 18, 1975, in Fairfax, Virginia, United States, to Dan and Kathryn Sudeikis. His father has served as a vice president of a company whereas his mother worked as a travel agent and is the sister of actor George Wendt.

Education – Jason attended Brookridge Elementary School. He later studied at Holy Cross Cathedral. In 1990, he went to Jesuit Rockhurst High School for his high school studies, but he later got enrolled at Shawnee Mission West High School. After high school, he went to Fort School Community in Fort Scott, Kansas on a basketball scholarship, but dropped out before completing his graduation.

Career – In the 1990s, he began his career as a comedian. Early in his career, he performed at ComedySportz (now known as Comedy City). After accumulating success at his first comedy show, he relocated to Chicago where he enrolled at ImprovOlympic in order to improve his skills. Furthermore, he performed with Boom Chicago in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

In 2003, Sudeikis joined the classical cult show “Saturday Night Live” as a writer but he would have to feature in the show sometimes as an audience member or extra. In May 2005, he was given repertory status during the show. He stayed in the show for almost a decade and learned many things about writing and sketching comedies.

Following the success in Saturday Night Live, he kicked off his television acting career in the 2007 satirical sitcom show “30 Rocks” where he was seen playing one of the main roles as Floyd DeBarber in 12 episodes. He also made his film debut in the comedy The Ten as Tony Contiella in the same year. He then had many small roles in Watching the Detectives, Meet Bill, The Rocker, and Semi-Pro.

In 2010, he was chosen to play Kurt Buckman in Seth Gordon’s Horrible Bosses alongside Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrel, and Kevin Spacey. It was his first breakthrough role that earned him fame and popularity across the nation and led him to get his first leading role in the Farrelly brothers’ comedy film Hall Pass (2011). His other best-known film works include We’re the Millers (2013), Drinking Buddies (2013), Horrible Bosses 2 (2014), Sleeping with Other People (2015), and Colossal (2016).
