She was born on October 27, 1986, to Israeli-born parents. Her father is of Polish-Jewish descent and her mother is of Moroccan-Jewish. Her interest in acting developed when she was a child and suffering from Asthma and had to use a nebulizer for 45 minutes at a time. During those days, she watched movies and found her interest in cinema. She then started learning ballet and modern dance at the Kiryat Sharet High School in Holon, Israel. After that, she went to the Sophie Moskowitz School of Acting in Tel Aviv where she studied acting.
When she turned 17, she moved to New York City in order to learn the nuances of acting, where she enhanced her acting skills by featuring in various off-Broadway productions. She worked hard and performed exceptionally in many stage shows and finally got a full scholarship to the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. Now her acting career was in a different direction. She learned a lot about acting over there and also starred in the 2006 production of King Lear where she played Cordelia.
Her journey was not as easy as it seemed. Earlier in her career, she featured guest appearances in many TV shows including, Privileged, Entourage, The Closer, Ghost Whisperer, Criminal Minds, CSI: Miami, and In Plain Sight.
In 2012, she was finally selected for the lead role as Raviva in the comedy-drama Underemployed. She then played Veronica “Vee” Dotsen in the 2014 Fox television series Gang Related. Simaltounesly, she was working in films too, but was unable to get a role which could make her an overnight star. Her best-known series are Prison as Sheba and Lucifer season 4 as Eve.
