- Daisy Ridley – She will play the role of Viola Eade, a woman without Noise who is the key to unlocking secrets for the New World
- Tom Holland – He will be starred as Todd Hewitt, a young man living on the distant planet of New World
- Mads Mikkelsen will be seen as David Prentiss, the ruthless Mayor of Prentisstown
- Demián Bichir as Ben Moore, who is one of the adopted father of Todd (played by Tom Holland)
- Cynthia Erivo as Hildy Black, very close to Todd and Viola, and the leader of Farbranch, a peaceful settlement in the New World that is forced to take a stand against Mayor Prentiss and his growing army
- Nick Jonas, who will be seen as David “Davy” Prentiss Jr., the son and soldier of the Mayor

When is Chaos Walking Releasing?
The film will be based on the Ness’s novel called The Knife of Never Letting Go. The movie was announced in 2011 and originally written by Charlie Kaufman, who left the film in 2014.
Chaos Walking was previously set to released on March 1, 2019 but due to poor test screening, it underwent extensive reshoots in April 2019.
Now, Chaos Walking is scheduled to be released on January 22, 2021. It might get delayed again due to Novel Coronavirus.

In the not too distant future, Todd Hewitt (Tom Holland) discovers Viola (Daisy Ridley), a mysterious girl who crash lands on his planet, where all the women have disappeared and the men are afflicted by “the Noise” – a force that puts all their thoughts on display. In this dangerous landscape, Viola’s life is threatened – and as Todd vows to protect her, he will have to discover his own inner power and unlock the planet’s dark secrets.
