In 2009, Asha won the title of Miss Uttrakhand and moved to Mumbai to pursue an acting career. She then started modeling after winning the title of Miss Uttarakhand and also began auditioning for several TV projects.
In 2010, she finally made her Television debut with a Star Plus television show Sapnon Se Bhare Naina in which she played Madhura. The next year, she starred in the Balaji Telefilms series Bade Achhe Lagte Hain where she played a negative role as Apeksha Malhotra, along with Sakshi Tanwar, and said about her that I learned so much from her and she is one of her inspirations.

In 2019, She made her digital debut in the ALTBalaji web series Baarish, where she played the leading role of Gauravi Karmakar alongside Sharman Joshi. Her performance was outstanding in the series and even received much appreciation from the critics and TV experts which helped led her to be cast in Abhay 2 where was seen as Sonam Khanna.
After accumulating success over the television, she moved to film works as well and finally made her debut in the 2020 crime-drama film Ludo where she portrayed Asha. The movie premiered on 12 November 2020 on Netflix and received a positive response from the critics and audience.
