Early Life & Education – She was born on August 29, 1981, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Her father “Robert Hampshire” was a dentist. She has two stepsisters named Sasha Hart and Athena Joseph. No more information about her family is currently available.

She was just 11 years old when she decided to pursue an acting career. She studied at Queen of Angel Academy, a girls’ Catholic high school that permanently close down in 2014. Later, she was accepted to join the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts but never attended due to a film opportunity at the time of enrollment.

Career – It was the year 1994 when she marked her debut on television having appeared in an episode of the horror anthology series Are You Afraid of the Dark? titled The Tale of Cutter’s Treasure: Part 1. Her first film was Dead Innocent released in 1997 where she portrayed Nicole. Her mother’s role was played by Oscar nominee Genevieve Bujold in the film and helped her give more exposure to her acting skills.

Having moved to Toronto, she received several acting roles in films and television titled The Life Before This (1999), Boy Meets Girl (1998), Made in Canada (1998-2001), Posers (2003), A Problem with Fear (2003), Twist (2003), Blood (2004).

In the 2006 film titled It’s a Boy/Girl Thing, she played Chanel alongside Kevin Zegers and Samaire Armstrong. She then was seen playing Leon Trotsky’s love interest Alexandra in the Canadian comedy The Trotsky in 2009. She then provided her voice for characters Misery in the animated series Ruby Gloom, Diana Barry in Anne of Green Gables: The Animated Series, Starr in 6Teen, Chloe Crashman in Carl Squared, and Alyson Malitski in Braceface.

She came into the limelight after portraying Jennifer Goines in the mystery drama 12 Monkeys which was based on the film of the same name. Her other known appearance was in the CBC television series Schitt’s Creek where she played Stevie Budd.
