Teresa Palmer was born on 26 February 1986 in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia, to Kevin Palmer and Paula Sanders. Her father worked as an Investor whereas her mother was a former nurse and missionary. Her parents divorced and initially, she had to live with her mother in a public housing project, but later she was brought up by her father on his farm in the Adelaide Hills. She grew up there with her two half-sisters and two stepbrothers.
