Early Life & Education – Sydney Craven was born on July 25, 1994, in Bexley, Kent, England, to Gary and Pauline (née Gibbins) Craven. Not much information about her parent’s profession is available in the public domain. She has sisters named Drew, Robyn, and Janay Craven.
While growing up, she became interested in acting after participating in several school plays and events which led her to enroll in the prestigious Arts Educational Schools in London where she graduated with BA Hons in Acting in 2015.
Career – Sydney Craven made her screen debut in the short film Native during her college days. Written and Directed by Jonny Blair, It is about a young soldier who returns home to see his dying sister. She played Sarah alongside Ben Smith and Heather Coombs.
In 2016, She played the role of Hannah in Debbie Moon’s drama TV series Wolfblood. The series has 5 seasons and a total of 61 episodes. It has won several awards including the British Screenwriters’ Award in the category of Best British Children’s Television.
In 2017, she made her television debut after guest-starring as Toni in two episodes of the comedy-drama The Idris Takeover. That same year, she appeared in the short drama Five by Five which premiered on March 27, 2017, on BBC Three.
Her career major breakthrough role came in 2017 when she was cast as Alexandra D’Costa in the crime-drama series EastEnders. Though, she played a small role in the series but gained exposure for her performance. She received appreciation from critics and audiences.
