Early Life & Education – She was born on July 26, 1964, in Arlington, Virginia. Her father John Wilson Bullock was an Army employee and part-time voice coach from Birmingham, Alabama whereas her mother Helga Mathilde (née Meyer) was an opera singer and voice teacher from Germany. She has a younger sister Gesine Bullock-Prado who served as the vice president of Bullock’s production company Fortis Films but left the industry in 2004.
Sandra studied at Waldorf education in Germany. Later, she attended Washington-Lee High School where she develop an interest in acting and began performing in school productions. She then went to East Carolina University located in Greenville, North Carolina where she earned a BFA in drama in 1986.
Career – In 1987, she forayed into the world of entertainment having played a small role as Lisa Edwards in the action thriller Hangmen. Almost two years later, she was offered to portray Kate Mason in the made-for-television film Bionic Showdown: The Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman.
