Early Life & Education – Olivia Wilde was born Olivia Jane Cockburn on March 10, 1984, in New York City, New York, United States. Her father Andrew Cockburn was a journalist and her mother Leslie Cockburn was a producer and journalist. She has two siblings, an older sister Chloe Frances and a younger brother Charlie Philip Cockburn.
She studied at Georgetown Day School in Washington, D.C., and later attended Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts as well. Being fond of acting since her childhood, the actress went to the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, in order to pursue a career in acting.
