Career – Nicola attended private schools to receive academic education. At 12, she hired an agent from the entertainment industry who helped her to find a part in the drama Blackbird which was produced by Manhattan Theatre Club. Around that time, she also made her acting debut in the 2006 comedy film titled Deck the Halls (2006).
In 2008, she landed a small role as Nicki in T. Sean Shannon’s comedy film Harold. The following year, she was cast as Katara in an action-adventure film The Last Airbender.
