Early Life & Education – She was born on September 9, 1991, in Columbia, South Carolina, to Jean and Jim Chow. Her father is Chinese whereas her mother is American. She has a younger brother named Forrest, and a younger sister named Kiersten. She received her high school education from Hammond School, located in Columbia, South Carolina. She then attended the prestigious University of Columbia to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree where she majored in Human Rights.
Career – It was a community theatre play that inspire her to take off her career in the entertainment industry. Prior to making her debut appearance, she was part of several productions including The Will Rogers Follies, Ragtime, and You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown. Being a stage actor, she learned many things about acting that helped her to shape her career in the professional acting world.
In 2005, she finally kicked off her acting career on television when she was chosen to play a recurring role in Mark Schwahn’s drama One Tree Hill as “Gigi Silveri”. The show was aired from 2005 to 2009 and helped her to explore more about acting. In 2008, she starred as Dakota in an episode of the American sitcom The Suite Life of Zack & Cody titled Romancing the Phone”.
In 2009, she had a small appearance in the comedy-drama film My Sweet Misery which even didn’t come to notice. She then was cast as Matisse Burrows in Disney Channel Original Movie in 2010. In the same year, she got her career’s major breakthrough role in Disney XD’s original series titled pair of Kings where she played Mikayla alongside Mitchel Musso, Doc Shaw, Adam Hicks, Ryan Ochoa, and Geno Segers.
Her performance was noticed by the filmmakers for the first time. In the 2012 American superhero film The Amazing Spider-Man, she played a small role as Sally Aril. She had minor appearances in the following films titled Run (2013), Found Footage (2014), Full of Grace (2015), and Chicago Sanitation (2015).
In 2015, she was cast to play Tracy Stewart in the supernatural teen drama Teen Wolf where she played a recurring role from 2015 to 2016. She has also been cast in a variety of roles in the TV shows like Splitting Up Together (2018), Yellowstone (2018-Present), and Fargo (2020).
