HBO announced a crime drama miniseries titled “Love and Death” in May 2021 with Elizabeth Olsen as the female lead. The rest of the cast came to onboard the project later in the following months. Is Love and Death Based on a True Story?
Yes, Love and Death is based on a true story of a married woman Candy Montgomery lives with her loving family in Wylie, Texas. She seems to be a perfect and normal housewife until she brutally murders her friend Betty Gore after having an affair with her husband.
Also, it is inspired by the book “Evidence of Love: A True Story of Passion and Death in the Suburbs” and some articles which are titled “Love & Death In Silicon Prairie, Part I & II”.

When Is Releasing Love and Death
Love and Death is scheduled to stream on April 27, 2023, exclusively on HBO Max. The first three episodes will premiere on the release date whereas the remaining episodes will then be available on a weekly basis until the seven-episode series concluded on May 25.
