Early Life – Satine was born on November 24, 1987, in Tbilisi, Georgian SSR, Soviet Union. Her father worked in the textile industry whereas her mother was an Opera singer. When she was just 5-year-old, she joined a group named Nergebi, a Mickey Mouse Club ensemble of child performers and they had to travel and perform in most part of Eastern Europe. By 9, she became the youngest performer to headline at the Kinotavr Festival.
Education – She attended Professional Performing Arts School in New York, and graduated at the age of 16. She then enrolled at Moscow Art Theatre School in Russia to study more about drama. Later, she also went to the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, England.
Career – Her acting career commenced in 2007 when she played the role of Sophia in the musical drama Ripple Effect. That same year, she was cast to portray Ainka in a short film Holier than Thou. In the next year, she appeared as Starlett in the family comedy Bar Starz.
That same year, she marked her television debut as well, by portraying Nadia Koslov who got defeated to the US in 1989, in an episode of the crime-drama series Cold Case. She next acted as Nadia in an episode of the Sci-Fi TV series Gemini Division titled ‘Training Day’.
In the 2009 film “Tha Harsh Life of Veronica Lambert”, Elena played Penelope which was later re-released in 2011 as Five Nights in Hollywood. She was then chosen to play Christine in the short film Adventures in Online Dating in the same year. Thereafter, she made her debut as a voice artist by providing her voice to Greek goddess ‘Ilithyia’ in an episode of season one’s Spartacus: Blood and Sand – Motion Comic.
