
Who is Eamon Farren? – Eamon Farren is an Australian film and television actor who has starred in several gigs but his prominent appearance include Richard Horne in the third season of Twin Peaks which is also known as Twin Peaks: The Return and Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Series. It was his first notable appearance that earned him huge popularity across the nation. Early Life & Education – He was born on May 19, 1985, in Queensland, to Australian parents. He attended Benowa State High School and got enrolled in its French Immersion Program where students needed to complete at least half of their schooling in French. Meanwhile, he discovered his love for acting. Later, he took admission to the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) and graduated in 2007.
Career – Farren’s television career began in 2001 when he was chosen to play the role of Levi Miller in the televisoin film The Outsider which also stars Naomi Watts and Tim Daly. He made a guest appearance as Dim in the Autralian live action series The Sleepover Club in 2002, followed by working in several Australian’s theatre companies Sydney Theatre Company, the Griffin Theatre Company and the Belvoir Street Theatre.
He then went on to make episode appearances in the television shows like All Saints (2008-2009), The Pacific (2010), and Rescue Special Ops (2010). After making decent appearances on television, he moved towards the films work as well and made his film debut by portraying the character Roo in Ana’s drama Blessed.
Farren had supporting roles in X: Night of Vengeance and Red Dog in 2011. In the next year, he was cast to portray one of the lead roles as Rabbit / Tim Fittler in Jennifer Lynch’s psycholigcal thriller Chained. His performance was quite commendable which also received huge appreciation by the audience. He played the role of a boy enslaved and raised by a serial killer played by Vincent D’Onofrio.
He had a major role in the ABC TV tele-movie titled Carlotta where he essayed the character of Danny / Ava. For his performance, he won AACTA Award in 2015 for Best Guest or Supporting Actor in a Television Film Drama.
