Early Life & Education – Daisy was born on 7 March 1991 in Fulham, London, to actor Anthony Head and Sarah Fisher. Her father is a well-known actor who starred as Rupert Giles in the supernatural drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She has an older sister Emily Head who is also an actress.
She studied at Kingswood School in Bath and subsequently attended Dorothy Coleborn School of Dance. Just like her father and sister, She always wanted to pursue a career in acting.
Career – After studies, she took auditions for several films and TV shows and finally got her first acting role in a 2004 drama TV series titled Feather Boy where she played the main lead role as Kate Barber. In 2005, she starred in three TV series including Rose and Maloney, Trial & Retribution, and Patrick’s Planet.
After accumulating over the television, she moved towards film work as well and made her debut in the 2010 science fiction thriller film The Last Seven where she shared the screen along with Danny Dyer, Tamer Hassan, Simon Phillips, and Ronan Vibert. The movie was a disaster at the box office and also failed to impress the audience.
She is best known for playing the role of Amy Stevenson in The Syndicate (2015), Grace Atwood in Guilt (2016), Kate Bottomley in Harlots (2019), Genya Safin in Shadow and Bone (2021), and Edith in Wrong Turn (2021).
