She was born on February 9, 1992, in Killingworth, Connecticut, USA. Her father, Alan Kostek works as a general contractor and her mother Christina (née Decosta) works as a gym manager. She is the eldest of four siblings.
As a child, she began taking ballet classes and secured admission at Broadway Dance Center. Moreover, she went to Haddam-Killingworth High School where she expressed her interest in cheerleading and joined her high school cheerleading squad. She even got the opportunity to cheer for the American football team ‘New England Patriots.
After pursuing cheerleading for years, she stopped cheerleading to get into modelling. Initially, She had to face many rejections by several modelling agencies but later she was signed by Maggie Inc and her modelling career finally kicked off.
