Early Life & Education – She was born on September 9, 1987, in Denver, Colorado, to American parents. Not much information about her parents and siblings is currently available in the public domain. She was extremely passionate about acting since her childhood. The 31-year-old actress attended Pepperdine University to study theatre and television where she earned a bachelor’s degree in 2010.
After this, she relocated to San Francisco to study more about acting. Edwards then enrolled in a three-year Master of Fine Arts program at American Conservatory Theatre which she completed in 2013.
Career – When she was at Pepperdine University, she wrote scenes for various events and functions, and even performed with Pepperdine’s Improv Troupe. In 2016, she finally kicked off her professional acting career by appearing as Arizona in an episode called Blindsided in the American family sitcom TV series Modern Family. That same year, she had another episode appearance in Elizabeth Meriwether’s New Girl as Marissa Blumenstock.
In 2017, she had small appearances in the following TV shows as Madison in Friends from College, Lorie in The Mindy Project, and TV anchor in Orange Is the New Black. It had been two years working on Television but she was still looking for her career’s breakthrough role.
In 2020, she landed a recurring role as Cindy McCabe in the American drama series Briarpatch which was based on the novel of the same name. The series was aired on USA Network on February 6, 2020, and was canceled after the first season. She is best known for playing Nathan’s girlfriend named Ingrid Kannerman in Greg Daniels’ Upload which completed its second season recently.
