Smile 2022 Movie Release Date, Star Cast, Plot & Trailer

Paramount Pictures dropped the trailer for the upcoming psychological horror film Smile a few days back which is receiving huge attention from the viewers. The trailer looks impressive and promising. Find more details about the film in further slides.

The promotional eight-second teaser was released on May 26, a 40-second teaser trailer was attached at the screening of Top Gun: Maverick and Crimes of the Future in early June 2022. The final trailer was released on June 22.

Initially, the film's title was Something's Wrong with Rose but the makers retitled the film to Smile sometime in May 2022.

Sosie Bacon is playing the female lead as Rose. She is the part of the film since the film's announcement has been made. Bacon is best known for playing Skye Miller in the Netflix teen drama 13 Reasons Why.

Besides Sosie Bacon, Jessie T. Usher, Kyle Gallner, Rob Morgan, Kal Penn, Judy Reyes, Gillian Zinser, and Caitlin Stasey will be seen in pivotal roles. They joined the cast in October 2021.

Smile is based on Parker Finn's short film titled Laura Hasn't Slept. The film was appreciated by critics and even won the SXSW Film Festival's special jury Midnight Short award.
